Welcome to the channeled insights and lessons for the week of December 1st to the 7th. Right away the first message was this week old relationships and situations are going to come back around to test your healing. And the guide said because of this it's really important to slow down. They acknowledge that this is a busy time of the year so you don't have a ton of extra time to slow things down but they said the healing and the magic actually happens in those slowed down moments. That's when you can see the small nuances of what you have healed and what still needs healed and where you're kind of still kind of getting glitched. Without slowing down and breaking it into smaller pieces, it's hard to really get the full picture of what is going on. And it's more than just healing, it's also those habits. So when we have a situation in life or an experience in life that might be difficult, after we've healed we may still have the habits that have formed because of that situation. So just because we might have healed from a past relationship doesn't mean that the patterns and the habits that we created within that relationship have also been taken care of. And so that's one of those checkpoints that you're going to be looking at it. They compared it to your final test. So just like a student in school will have a final exam, this is your final exam for whatever is coming forward for you. And they said just as a student is going to study and review their notes and make sure they understand everything before they go take the test so that they can be done with the class, that is what you're being asked to do this week is to slow down, review, study, prep for this final test so that you can move through the test and on to the next class. And then they said because you're being asked to review things this week, it's also going to give you an opportunity to review the new paths that you have chosen. And they wanted to be very clear that this is even like the really new paths. You might have chosen something within the past six months and they're asking you this week to review it also. And what they were saying is when you made the decision six months ago to go in this direction, you were making that decision from the person you were six months ago. Well now over the past six months you've had more experiences, you've healed from whatever you've been going through, you're at this final test point, and that includes did you choose the right path or did you choose another path that's similar because you weren't fully healed back when you picked it. And so really what you have to keep in mind with this is what you heal and learn from will change what you're doing in the now. So let's use an example of maybe you left a partner six months ago. And six months ago you made all these decisions about where you're going to live. Maybe it also incurred a career change. You know you've made all these decisions at that point. Well now six months later you have done some healing work. You've been separated for the six months. Now it's time to go back and go did I pick the right place to live? If I had to go get a job did I pick the right job? Really reviewing does what you chose back then work for you today in your healed state? While you're also reviewing have you gotten everything healed and changed the habits to go with it? I know that is a lot to do during holiday time but they're really encouraging you to slow down and take the time to do this because without slowing down to take the time to do this right now you are going to continue on that path of not having taken care of these things. So in another six months you might be triggered again to go back and review this stuff but you would then have had an entire year of maybe doing the wrong things or ignoring a healing issue and it'll be harder or more ingrained to deal with then. So they did give me an exercise that you can do to make this a little bit easier. They said first of all name the old situation. You might have more than one. This doesn't have to be one specific thing you're looking at. Oftentimes it's multiple and they're all intertwined and working together. So name the situation then they want you to review how you healed the big issues that you faced. Really kind of go through what did I heal? What was the thing I was working on? What tools did I use during that? How did I grow during that? Really review what you've been doing over that time period. Then they want you to decide if there's anything that still needs healed. Is there any gaps that you're seeing? Are there small details that you're like oh I still really get triggered by this so I want to work on this? And then finally they want you to decide if what you're doing today is still what you want. Even if there wasn't a major major life change it's always good to check in six months once a year to make sure you're still aligned with what you actually want today. And they said when you're in doubt just slow down. You don't have to master this in one week. It's unlike the student has a deadline to take the test. You don't have necessarily a deadline. You can get started on it this week and maybe you do get super busy with holiday season and you readdress it in January or February. But they said the key here is that slowing down and just allowing yourself time to regroup and process what you're going through so that you don't have to do 10 times more later.
